This privacy policy describes how Logiword (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) treats information when you use our word game on the web, on Android, or on iOS.

1. Who we are

Logiword is a daily word game. The app is made available on the web and as native apps for iOS and Android, distributed through the usual app stores. This policy applies to all of these.

2. Data we collect and how we use it

2.1 Data stored on your device

To provide the game and your progress, we use local storage on your device:

Game progress — your guesses and the daily word for each day and language, so you can continue later.
Preferences — language, settings (e.g. clickable suggestions, “yesterday” mode), and whether you have seen the intro.
Cookie / storage consent (web) — whether you accepted or declined functional storage.

This data stays on your device. We do not receive or store it on our servers. You can clear it at any time in Settings or by declining cookies on the web.

2.2 Analytics (mobile apps)

On our Android and iOS apps, we may use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how the app is used. This can include:

Screen views (e.g. which screens are opened)
Generic events (e.g. that a game was started or completed, language chosen)

2.3 Web and API

When you play on the web or in the app, your device sends requests to our game server (e.g. to check words and get similarity scores). We do not use these requests to build a profile of you; we do not log or store your guesses for tracking or advertising.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your data.
We do not use your data for advertising or ad targeting.
We do not require an account to play; we do not collect your name, email, or phone number for the game.

4. Data sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties for their marketing. Analytics data in the mobile app is processed by Google (Firebase) under their privacy policy; we use it only to improve the app (e.g. usage patterns), not to identify you.

5. Children

Logiword is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not use the data we collect to target children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your choices

Web: You can decline cookies so we do not save progress or preferences. You can clear all stored data in Settings.
Mobile: You can clear app data in your device settings. Analytics is collected automatically but does not include your game content.

7. Security

We use standard technical measures to protect our servers and communications. Data stored on your device is under your control and your device’s security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws (for example, to access or delete certain information). You can also review your mobile platform’s privacy and advertising settings to limit how device or app data is used.
